Katherine has extensive experience planning and hosting a diverse range of events, from weddings and charity galas to influencer gatherings and intimate productions. She has planned and directed over 11 high-profile events in cities such as Washington DC, New York City, The Hamptons, Charleston, Chicago, and Austin, accommodating up to 300 guests for Gray for Glioblastoma. Additionally, Kate has demonstrated her ability to manage large-scale university events, working closely with faculty, students, and alumni to orchestrate the University of Texas spring event for over 2,000 students.

Sunset Soiree for Brain Cancer

The Gray for Glioblastoma cocktail event raised thousands to support brain cancer research and saw over 200 attendees, including well known hamptons socialites and press during the VIP cocktail hour prior to the event. The event included activations from the Bond Society (Permanent Jewelry), Klein Designs (Custom Embroidery), Sadie Bean Designs (Custom Luggage Tags), Cream & Sugar (Ice Cream Cart), and Hannah Paints Events (Live Painting). The event was generously supported by numerous sponsors, including Baked by Melissa,Roller Rabbit, Wolferr Wine, Swoon, Intelligent Change, Essie, Loverboy, Vacation, Poppi, Juneshine, Melissa Wood Health, Casamigos, and many more.

The Glioblastoma Awareness Day VIP Influencer Event VIP Party will provide entertainment with a DJ, professional photography, complimentary bites, desserts, and cocktails and engaging activations, all centered around the cause and mission. These fun, immersive experiences engaged attendees with the organization's work on a more personal level, fostering a deeper connection to the cause and inspiring continued support. Led the planning and execution of the University of Texas spring event for over 2,000 students, working closely with faculty, students, alumni, volunteers, and vendors. Took full ownership of the event, managing every aspect from event theme, logistics and vendor coordination to volunteer recruitment and on-site operations. Successfully oversaw a budget of $200,000, ensuring cost-effective decisions while delivering a high-quality experience for students. Ensured seamless communication among all parties, resulting in a well-organized and memorable event that met the expectations of all stakeholders.

Snapchat Sanctuary at SXSW

Assisted the Snap inc team in event coordination for the 2024 SXSW Snap Sanctuary Event which attracted thousands of attendees. Played a key role in the success of the Snap Sanctuary at SXSW 2024 by assisting with logistics, welcoming guests, and both the setup and teardown processes. Collaborated with many industry leading brands such as Vacation, Waterboy, Equinox, Tito's Vodka, Tequila 512, Corepower, Outdoor Voices Mud Wtr, Pvolve, Therabody, and individuals such as Melissa Wood Toppenberg and Maya Kosovalic to curate a successful event.
